Amanda Eisenberg
Amanda is an adjunct journalism professor at New York University. She's also the debut author of People Are Talking, out in April 2025. Originally from New Jersey, Amanda spent nearly a decade in New York City as a health care journalist. She's written for outlets such as Politico and InStyle. She lives in Manhattan.

Rojienne enjoys indulging in everything film, tiktok, and TV-related, from writing to binge-watching. In her spare time, she can be found journaling in a local coffee shop and browsing the shelves at any and every bookstore.

Devyn Novikoff
Devyn is a sophomore at NYU studying public policy and journalism. She is the local news editor at 101 News Stop, a natural fit for the Long Island native. She enjoys writing about politics and policy, but in her free time you can find her ranking restaurants on Beli and annoying her friends with pop culture references.

Rachel is a sophomore from Connecticut studying Finance and Statistics at NYU Stern. In her free time, she enjoys walking around the city, window shopping, and reading memoirs.

Anna is a sophomore at New York University, double majoring in Drama and Journalism with a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She can often be found shopping in Soho, seeing musicals in Midtown, or strolling the cobblestone streets in the West Village.

Chantal is a sophomore studying drama at the Atlantic Acting School. She lives in South Florida, but will insist that she's technically from New Jersey. You can probably find her laughing through the punchlines of her own jokes, complaining, or watching compilations of Kate McKinnon’s best moments.

Liam is an NYU Junior studying Broadcast Journalism and Drama. He serves as NYUs Play-By—Broadcaster, writes for WSN, and is on Cheap Seats for WNYU. Last summer Restivo Worked for the San Francisco Giants in their Game Day Operations Department.

Marta is a junior from Spain studying psychology and journalism who enjoys writing about philosophy, science and travel. In her free time you can find her drinking coffee with friends, looking for the best dumpling spots in the city and planning for her next trip.

Becca is a junior at NYU majoring in drama and journalism. She is an avid consumer of the arts, hosting WNYU's only entertainment podcast, The Spotlight. When she isn't watching sitcoms or seeing plays, you can find her hiking in North Carolina and poorly playing guitar.

Griffin Adams is a sophomore in the New Studio on Broadway at Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a journalism student at NYU. He enjoys writing about the performing arts and pop culture. Aside from writing, Griffin can be found performing with NYU's choir, eating some sushi, listening to a funny podcast, or planning an excursion with friends and family somewhere interesting in the city.

When he is not in the 101 Newstop office, you may spot him strolling the streets of the city, listening to an eclectic range of music — from LCD Soundsystem to A$AP Rocky — and sipping a large, iced chai latte.

When she’s not writing, you can find her watching “Friends” for the trillionth time, getting a matcha or chai Latte from Dunkin, or hanging out with her friends in the city.
